CHAD CRAFT
As a scientist in hematology/oncology, my studio is a cross-disciplinary laboratory where scientific innovation intersects with raw, upcycled art. Bridging the gap between a scientific background and totally unrestricted creative play allows me to create highly distinctive work.  The combination of functional, reclaimed-hardware furniture and surreal pop-culture doll recreations presents a highly unique portfolio.
Industrial & Reclaimed Furniture: Upcycling antique carpentry and farm tools, and metal hardware into functional, decorative, and one-of-a-kind pieces.
Masterpiece Reimagining: Collaborating with Kyle Bromley Photography to reconstruct gently used dolls into famous historical portraits.
Witchcraft & Lore: Utilizing dolls to build an upcoming series referencing infamous witches, real and cinematic.
Wearable Art: Creating fashion pieces that steer away from social norms in respect to gender, material, structure and function.
