Colleen Pearce is an artist, activist and teacher who uses her tools to speak up and speak out about what it means to be human on this planet we call home. She considers her first education to be from her family’s farm in Michigan where she drew sustenance from nature in every season. She completed a BFA from Tufts University, a diploma in fine arts from the Museum School of Fine Arts, a MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. While living in Australia, she earned a diploma in art history from the Gallery of New South Wales.
Pearce has been a guest lecturer on the development of art in children at deCordova and she has been the recipient of a Massachusetts Cultural Grant.
Pearce has exhibited across New England including a solo show at Fitchburg State University, and Southern Vermont Arts Center. She also has exhibited at MassArt, Museum School, Concord Art, the Fitchburg Art Museum, French Cultural Center, Strasbourg/Boston Cultural Exchange, Indian Hill Arts, Catamount Arts, the Saco Museum, New Hampshire Art Institute Biennial, B.U, Great Bay Community College, and Boston City Hall. She is currently represented by Three Stones Gallery in Concord, MA.
